MyShul is a SaaS platform providing synagogue management tools, including CRM functionality, invoicing, payment processing, scheduling, and member engagement via web and mobile applications.
Users: Free
Shuls: No subscription fees
Fees:
1% on processed funds
3% on raffle transactions
The Services allow Users to save payment methods for future transactions.
Saved payment methods consist only of limited identifying information (card brand, last four digits, expiration date) and are securely managed by Stripe.
Registration is required for most features, except guest donations.
No minimum age requirement
Only non-profit organizations may register as Shuls
Users must provide accurate and truthful information
Users and Shuls may create accounts
You are responsible for maintaining account security
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations
Account suspension does not result in data deletion
By saving a payment method on MyShul, you acknowledge and agree that:
Shuls you are affiliated with, or that add you to their account, may view limited details of your saved payment methods.
Shuls may request authorization to use a saved payment method for payments or invoices.
Each use requires explicit User approval via a one-time verification code.
You may decline any payment request without penalty.
By using the Services, Users acknowledge and agree that:
Shul administrators may process one-time payments on their behalf when the User provides payment details.
One-time payment details entered by a Shul administrator are not saved after the transaction completes.
Any recurring payment requires explicit User authorization.
You agree not to:
Engage in illegal activity
Harass or abuse others
Reverse engineer the platform
Scrape or harvest data
Spam or send unauthorized communications
Infringe intellectual property
Circumvent security measures
No monthly subscriptions
Fees deducted per transaction
Optional Cost Recovery Program allows MyShul to temporarily increase fees (up to 100%, excluding Stripe fees) until agreed costs are recovered
All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
Use of Saved Payment Methods
Saved payment methods may be reused for future transactions upon User approval.
Users are responsible for ensuring their saved payment information remains accurate and valid.
Shul administrators may charge a payment method on behalf of a User for a single transaction.
Such payment methods are used one time only and are not stored for future use.
MyShul is not responsible for payment disputes arising from User-provided payment details.
Users may independently establish recurring payments and may:
Modify payment methods
Cancel recurring payments
Review billing history
Shul administrators may set up recurring payments on behalf of a User with User authorization.
Payment methods saved for recurring payments are restricted to that specific recurring obligation.
These payment methods cannot be used for:
One-time charges
Additional invoices
Any other purpose
MyShul, LLC owns the platform and all related intellectual property
All data entered into the platform is owned by MyShul, LLC
Users and Shuls receive a limited, revocable license to use the Services
We integrate third-party services including Stripe, Twilio, MouseFlow, and QuickBooks.
We are not responsible for third-party actions, outages, or policies.
The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyShul is not liable for:
Data loss or corruption
User or admin errors
Misuse of the platform
Deleted or modified records
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Unauthorized payment attempts that are blocked by verification controls
User-approved transactions initiated by Shuls
Disputes between Users and Shuls regarding authorized payments
Authorized recurring payments
Payments approved or initiated by Users or Shul administrators
Payment failures due to expired cards, insufficient funds, or canceled authorizations
Disputes arising from recurring payment agreements between Users and Shuls
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyShul, LLC from claims arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.
Governing Law: State of Florida, USA
Venue: Courts located in Broward County, Florida
MyShul may terminate or suspend access at any time.
Shuls may request account termination; data retention remains subject to Section 9 of the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms by email notification.
Continued use constitutes acceptance.
